Opportunities

We are growing in numbers with new faculty, researchers and students working together on important discoveries. In addition, we partner with researchers at the Biodesign Institute, at ASU, within Arizona and around the world. Our various research projects revolve around several focused themes that leverage our technology and expertise.

If you are a postdoctoral fellow or a graduate student interested in joining or rotating in our center, please contact the faculty member you are interested in working with directly.

We welcome undergraduate students in the laboratory to work with one of our faculty, postdocs or students. Students may choose to work in the lab, attend lab meetings or journal clubs, or all of the above. We do not require previous research lab experience, but you should have taken one or more biology or biochemistry lab courses. We request that you expect to spend at least 10-15 hours per week (preferably in several contiguous blocks) in the lab. Students must volunteer in the lab at least one semester before we will consider work in the lab for credit.

Students are invited to join the lab at the beginning of each semester and over the summer. Complete our application in its entirety. Since there is high interest in working in our center, the selection rate is very low. If there is a match between your background and one of our researchers, you will receive an email.

·   Fall semester, please fill out the application by Aug. 15.

·   Spring semester, please fill out the application by Jan. 15.

·   Summer term, please fill out the application by May 15.

A completed application should be submitted before midnight on the date shown above.
