Overview of Tools
Jasco J-815 Circular Dichroism Spectropolarimeter
Measures and quantifies differences in absorption of left and right circularly polarized light in chiral molecules and macromolecular structures
- Analyze secondary/tertiary structure or conformation of macromolecules
- Observe how secondary structure of proteins changes with environmental conditions or on interaction with other molecules
- Derive structural, kinetic and thermodynamic information
- ASU gas handling and instrument specific training required
- Researchers will provide their own cells / cuvettes; recommendations available based on application
