Tess Doezema is a doctoral candidate in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology. She was a 2018-2019 visiting fellow in the STS program at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a 2015-2016 Research Innovation Fellow with the USAID Global Development Lab. Her dissertation research focuses on the bioeconomy, examining the intersection of biological knowledge production, environmental governance and global politics with a focus on the U.S. and Brazil. Tess serves as director of operations for the Journal of Science Policy and Governance. She has an M.A. in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan.
