Shaun OBrien is the Editor, Research and Special Projects for the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. He works alongside faculty at Edson College on writing and editing grant proposals and publications. He acts as a liaison between project Principal Investigators, departments, colleges, and the ASU Office for Research and Sponsored Projects Administration (ORSPA).
Prior to joining Edson College, Shaun worked as a Research Advancement Administrator, Sr. for the Biodesign Research Opportunity Advancement and Development (ROAD) Team; and previously as the Research Advancement Administrator for Edson College.
Before coming to Arizona State University (ASU), Shaun worked as a Technical/Proposal writer for several companies within environmental and engineering industries. He also worked as a Reporting Coordinator for a Department of Defense contractor. Shaun has been responsible for proposal development, marketing campaigns, reporting, and project management for several large-scale industry projects. He received his BS and MS in Technical Communication from ASU.
