Dr. Hariadi completed his Ph.D. in Applied Physics at Caltech in 2011 and his BS in Physics and Biochemistry at Washington State University in 2003.


Rizal Hariadi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Arizona State University. He joined ASU in 2016 where he established BIOmolecular Mechanics And Nanotechnology LABoratory (BIOMAN LAB). Dr. Hariadi joined ASU from Wyss Institute of Biologically-Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, where he did his postdoctoral research under Prof. Peng Yin. Before Harvard, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan, under Prof. Sivaraj Sivaramakrishnan.
