Discovered an interest in social media as a career during my time with The Arizona Republic/azcentral.com on the retail and real estate ad sales side of the house. Like turned to love when I became a part of the Facebook Small Business Solutions team here in Phoenix in 2012, then turned that into social media management positions with a local tech startup and other Valley businesses before partnering with a colleague to operate our own boutique agency. When the offer came to become a part of what's happening at ASU, I jumped at the chance and haven't looked back.
In addition to my role at ASU I also have organized Social Media Day Phoenix for the past two years, and have run Social Media Club Phoenix since 2015. I'm also part of the volunteer marketing team behind #yesPHX, which is the startup and entrepreneurial community in the Valley. My duties mostly revolve around managing social media channels with other team members, with a heavy focus and admin duties for the #yesPHX Facebook group.
Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, I've lived in the Greater Phoenix area since moving here in 2005 after a couple of years residing in Baltimore, MD and Jacksonville, FL areas. Yes...I'm a long-time, die-hard Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics fan...but I definitely was watching when Jake the Snake beat Nebraska, and Eddie House is in my top 5 pantheon of all time favorite college basketball players.
My wife and I live in Mesa with our two daughters (an 18yo and a 5yo as of Sept. 2018).
