Brent Nannenga joined Arizona State University in 2015 as an assistant professor of chemical engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy. His research focuses on protein engineering, structural biology, and understanding the molecular mechanisms of how biological molecules interact with inorganic materials. Additionally, he is interested in developing and improving new techniques for structural biology, specifically cryo-electron microscopy.
