Expect the unexpected as you step inside the Biodesign Institute. Glimpse how innovations may change the future.

With more than 30 games and awe-inspiring activities, you can race molecules, build viruses, play “poop detective” and put on a spacesuit to conduct an experiment aboard the International Space Station. Kids can watch STEM careers in action and adults will see how Biodesign research is improving health, protecting lives and sustaining our planet.

At Open Door, thrill seekers, lifelong learners, science gurus and art enthusiasts can experience what happens at the most innovative university in the nation.

Volunteer Resources

 Sign up to volunteer

Research team volunteers should sign up directly with their open door team captain.

 Add the Open Door Signature to your Outlook email:

1. Open this file in either Safari, Chrome or Firefox
2. Press command A (or edit/Select All)
3. Press command C to copy
4. Go to your outlook preferences and select signatures
5. Select or add an ASU signature
6. Press command V to paste into the signature field
7. Replace template information with YOUR information
