Ranu Jung was recently honored with election as a Senior Member in the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). Only 7.6 percent of the approximately 367,000 IEEE members worldwide hold this grade. Jung, along with Jimmy Abbas, co-direct the Center for Rehabilitation Neuroscience and Rehabilitation Engineering. The center's research investigates multiple areas to repair or replace function for people with lost limbs, spinal-cord injuries or other neurological disorders.
