Arizona State University’s Biodesign Center for Health Through Microbiomes, led by Dr. Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown, and collaborating with Dr. Jim Adams and Sun Genomics (a leading microbiome health company) invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the area of microbial ecology with a special focus on host-microbe interactions driven by customized probiotics. The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will be working in a uniquely collaborative and productive lab. Dr. Krajmalnik-Brown’s lab in collaboration with Dr. Jim Adams are leading experts in research on Microbiome and Autism. The Postdoc will be taking a leadership role in a Gut Microbiome funded project (probiotics, microbiome-autism) funded by Sun-Genomics, will be exposed to many research topics associated with Microbiome and Autism, and will have the opportunity to start and lead this new exciting project.
Priority will be given to candidates with experience working with large data sets, metagenomics, biostatistics, functional microbial ecology analysis targeting microbial genomes, microbial pathways, microbially-produced metabolites and/or bioreactor operation as demonstrated through publications and references
