Postdoctoral Research Scholar - Biostatistics

Arizona State University’s Biodesign Center for Health Through Microbiomes, led by Dr. Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown, and collaborating with Dr. Jim Adams and Sun Genomics (a leading microbiome health company) invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the area of microbial ecology with a special focus on host-microbe interactions driven by customized probiotics. The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will be working in a uniquely collaborative and productive lab. Dr. Krajmalnik-Brown’s lab in collaboration with Dr. Jim Adams are leading experts in research on Microbiome and Autism. The Postdoc will be taking a leadership role in a Gut Microbiome funded project (probiotics, microbiome-autism) funded by Sun-Genomics, will be exposed to many research topics associated with Microbiome and Autism, and will have the opportunity to start and lead this new exciting project.​

Priority will be given to candidates with experience working with large data sets, metagenomics, biostatistics, functional microbial ecology analysis targeting microbial genomes, microbial pathways, microbially-produced metabolites and/or bioreactor operation as demonstrated through publications and references
