The Center for Evolutionary Medicine & Informatics is hosting a symposium on Phylomedicine at the Arizona State University Biodesign Institute from March 23-24, 2012 in Tempe. This symposium is sponsored by the Society for Molecular Biology & Evolution (SMBE), who is providing financial support to bring together scientific leaders at the intersection of Molecular Evolution and Genomic Medicine (Phylomedicine). Jason Wulf identified an opportunity to apply for a competitive data storage award from NetApp (25 TB) and collaborated with Li Liu to submit an application. CEMI received the storage award (valued at $195K).
