Paul Billing-Ross, Kumar Lab member and CEMI employee, will be joining the Genetics & Development Ph.D. program at Cornell University this fall. Admission to the program includes full tuition and health care as well as a cost of living stipend.
Vegray_intranet Vanessa Gray, PREP Scholar and Kumar Lab member, will join the Genome Sciences Ph.D. program at the University of Washington in Seattle. For the duration of the program, she will receive full funding provided by the  NIH/NHGRI Genome Training Grant.

Monica Acosta, PREP Scholar and Escalante Lab member, was accepted to the Pennsylvania State University biology Ph.D. program starting this fall.  She will receive an annual cost of living stipend and full tuition and fees.

lliu80_small.png		 Jason Wulf identified an opportunity to apply for a competitive data storage award from NetApp (25 TB) and collaborated with Li Liu to submit an application.  CEMI received the storage award (valued at $195K).
