Platforms

mRNA Display:
We have extensive expertise in mRNA display, which is a cell-free technology in which in vitro translated proteins become covalently attached to their encoding RNA message. This methodology has been used previously to discover novel protein-protein and protein-drug interactions, evolve new protein folds and enzymes from scratch, display libraries of unnatural peptides for in vitro selection.  Read more…

Molecular Techniques:
To fully understand the functional genomic basis of life, powerful high throughput equipment and methodologies must be employed.  Of central importance to these efforts is the application of “shot-gun proteomics”, that harnesses the power and capabilities of mass spectrometry coupled with sophisticated bioinformatics to decipher cellular proteomes.  Read more…
